Claremont Chamber's Annual Village Venture is an Arts & Crafts Faire, which also includes Chamber businesses and organisations. The event is held every year on the fourth Saturday in October. In 2009 the event will be held on October 24th. Please note this event is juried by a Screening Committee.

General Information about the event:-
Each vendor is provided with only the street space, approx 12 ft wide x 10 ft deep.
Vendors must bring all of their own supplies, tables, chairs, canopies, etc.
If it is possible, vendors will be assigned the same space as in previous years unless otherwise requested on application in “Vendor’s Notes”, however, please understand that you may have to be moved due to unforseen circumstances.

The Claremont Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to make final exhibitor selections based on applications meeting specifications listed. Exhibitors may be removed if:
• Work differs from or is inferior to photos submitted
• Work is not proper for family viewing. This does not necessarily preclude nude work
• One exhibitor obstructs another
• Personal conduct is deemed inappropriate behavior.
• Work is not handmade in America.

Arts & Crafts Vendor Information
(Only submit requested items WITH application)

Each vendor selling any arts or craft must submit five 5"x7" photographs that best represents their current work, not the booth set up.
The Screening Committee will determine eligibility to participate based on photos submitted and may even ask to visit your studio.

• Past participation in Village Venture does not guarantee acceptance.
• Manufactured, mass produced or imported items will not be accepted.
• Be sure to put a description and price on the reverse side of all photographs.
• Two vendors may share a space, however both must submit photos of their work and provide a VALID State Board of Equalization Permit Number for both vendors.
• Photos will ONLY be returned after Village Venture if an additional, self addressed, stamped envelope provided by the vendor is enclosed with the application; otherwise all photos will be discarded.
• No slides or photo albums will be accepted.
