Crystal Clear Images Inc. has been a member of the Claremont Chamber for 6 years as well as a part of the surrounding community for over 15 years. Writing this has given me the opportunity to reflect on all of the great people we have had the opportunity to meet and provide our services to as a result of being part of a chamber that cares about its members. We are looking forward to the opportunity to help more businesses with their office equipment and supplies needs for many years to come. Thank You CCOC for all your hard work.

The Claremont Symphony Association has been an active performance organization in Claremont for 59 years, and has been a member of the Chamber of Commerce for the past 22 years.  The adult symphony, the CSO, provides seven free concerts a year and is an opportunity for local musicians to rehearse and perform. The youth symphony, the CYSO, is the educational arm of the association, augmenting public music education. The Chamber of Commerce has been a partner in promoting music and is one of the keys to our success by providing invaluable opportunities for sponsorship and business partnership. The Chamber has played a key role in making the Claremont Symphony the community treasure that it is.

Located in the heart of the Claremont village since 1947 and a chamber member since 1949, Curtis Real Estate is Claremont's longest established real estate firm. As an independent, third-generation family-owned and operated firm we have sold homes to generations of local families as well as new residents.  The Claremont Chamber has been instrumental in referring clients to us and does a great job promoting the Claremont Village, small businesses, creating networking opportunities for its members and keeping us informed about important issues.  Thank you for all that you do for Claremont!

Working at Foothill Family Shelter for the past 7 ½ years has opened my eyes to so many things. It has been an incredible opportunity and I have learned so much both personally and professionally. Over the years, Foothill Family Shelter has established numerous relationships with businesses and individuals within Claremont and we are proud to be a part of such an active Chamber. We are forever grateful for all of the support we have received and we look forward to building new relationships that will benefit the at-risk homeless families throughout our communities.

Scott Feemster, for Some Crust Bakery, The Feemster Family, and all The Crusties

As Claremont’s Bakery since 1916, and as Some Crust since 1978, we’ve had a lot of time to get to know Claremont and all of our wonderful neighbors and customers. Part of being a successful business in our community should also include being a member of the Chamber Of Commerce. We’ve been a member since 1982, and we highly recommend it. The Chamber is a great resource in reaching out to other businesses and the general public in our town, and we’re always glad to pitch in and help them in whatever way we can. (We’re also happy to supply the English ladies at the Chamber with “proper” scones, but that’s another story for another time…) We are proud and humbled to be a Claremont institution, and we thank all of our friends and customers for their patronage over the years! Eat more cookies!

Prudential Wheeler Steffen Real Estate

At age 20 I obtained my real estate license and entered the business world nearly 25 years ago while still attending Cal-Poly Pomona earning my degree in Finance, Real Estate, & Law. My Mother Ruth who also happened to be a real estate broker encouraged me to join professional networks if anyone was going to take me seriously in representing them with the sale or purchase of a home.  Joining The Claremont Chamber was and has been one of my best affiliations as it's so easy to relate to all the wonderful people that I have grown up with over the last 30 years in Claremont. I especially applaud the inception of the Claremont Young Professionals (CYP) group as I see that as vital to the success of all local business owners and their employees.

The Claremont Chamber has provided numerous opportunities for me to network and participate in various events throughout the community. In joining the Chamber, The Claremont Club has forged many partnerships throughout our community with outstanding results. It is always a pleasure to work with the staff and I value the warm and professional atmosphere the “M’s” create. Out of all the chambers I have been part of I have to say The Claremont Chamber has been exciting to be part of and I look forward to many more years together.

Having grown up in Claremont, I have a great love for this community. When I returned to Claremont to open my dental practice, I knew that joining the Chamber would be a natural fit. It has not disappointed me. The Chamber creates a dynamic atmosphere for business networking, provides opportunities for developing trusting friendships, and increases community awareness of one's business. The team at the Chamber have the business members as their priority. We love you, Chamber!

Since joining the Chamber I have had the opportunity to meet people in the community I otherwise would not have met. Because my clientele is mostly women, the ladies luncheons have been particularly helpful by providing the opportunity to establish professional partnerships with women in business. I have enjoyed the benefits of both the partnerships themselves as well as the new clientele they have provided. The Village Venture alone provided me with as many new clients as all other forms of advertising combined, with much less money out of pocket. Thanks Claremont Chamber, it’s working.

Since joining, I have found that being part of the Chamber is all about opportunity. It offers a major service provider, like Valley Vista Services, the opportunity to be involved in community betterment programs, to network with new and existing businesses, to access our elected officials and advocate collectively for local businesses. The bottom line is the Chamber works effectively expanding economic opportunity in the region.

I would like to thank the Claremont Chamber and their Staff for all of their support through out the years.

It is a true pleasure being part of the Chamber.

I moved my State Farm Agency to Claremont in 1984 and immediately joined the Chamber to get to know the business community and as a thank you for the privilege of being able to serve the public.  Our Chamber has grown and matured tremendously over the past 27 years, from our fledgling program called Best BET in 1989, to a Marketing Committee spear heading a vibrant business community, to the formation of a Government Relations Committee respected throughout the Inland Empire, to the formation of Claremont Young Professionals, and all the networking and business education opportunities they present.  Stability, professional staff, well respected locally and regionally, supportive of small business issues, involved Board and committees…all reasons a business can’t afford NOT to be a member of such a great organization.  Wishing you continued success!

Active Chamber membership will produce positive results for your business and for the business community. Over time, members will meet you and learn what you do, and, when they need your services or product, most likely they will turn to you rather than to just a name on a list. The business community will benefit too, as the collective strength of members can help sway our political leaders to act in ways favorable to business.

Renee Futter, Arbonne

I’ve been a member of the Claremont Chamber for two years. The Chamber provides my business the opportunity to meet and do business with other professional business owners. My participation in Village Venture, “Spin the Wheel” promotion and Ladies Luncheon has greatly enhanced my business presence in the community. My Sponsorship of a Monthly Membership Meeting gave me the opportunity to promote my business to the clientele I’m looking for. Kudos to the Board and the Staff for a well run Chamber.

The Claremont Community Foundation has enjoyed its close association with the Chamber for over 20 years.  Sharing office space and sharing commitment to Claremont has created a strong bond between our organizations.  One definite benefit has been the easy access to Claremont businesses and the opportunity to network with volunteers who consistently endeavor to improve our fair City.  Working with the Chamber staff and Board on so many of our mutual projects is always a productive and pleasant collaboration.

Investments of time and money
The outstanding volunteer members (who really know this community) the staff of the Chamber, coupled with a minimal City stipend has made Claremont the envy of many, many small communities. One only has to look at nearly vacant commercial districts in surrounding communities to see how well our investments are paying off. The more you put in the more you receive. Reach around, and give yourself a pat on the back. 4th generation Claremont Businessman

I will always remember the feeling of opening a new business in a city where I knew absolutely no one. The only information I had, had been gathered in one month of market research. Grand opening day, June 2004, a Claremont resident and business owner expressed the importance of getting involved in the community, especially in Claremont. Immediately I joined the Claremont Chamber. I have not been involved with another organization that has been as helpful and supportive as the Chamber. I'm proud to be a member and I thank them for being the catalyst to many productive business relationships, and my introduction to a new circle of friends.

Our relationship with the Claremont Chamber has provided us with many amazing business opportunities. Chamber-sponsored events help us to meet new customers and grow our business. The Village Venture puts us before thousands of new customers, and the VMG’s annual Wine Walk brings upwards of 5oo people into our store. I was so excited last month after the Chamber breakfast when we got a call for an appointment from someone who learned about us at the breakfast! The Claremont Chamber works for its members. I find our Chamber membership to be a great value, and a wonderful support in these economic times.

Although I am fairly new to the Claremont Chamber of Commerce, I have met some of the kindest and most supportive business owners. The Chamber is a wonderful way to network and also meet amazing people. Some of which, like myself, are working hard to grow a business, build new relationships and retain the customers we have. I have had the pleasure of attending the Ladies Luncheons - what a wonderful experience and what an amazing group of ladies. The knowledge and experience of these ladies has empowered me as a woman in the automotive industry. I am proud of our business and excited about our plans for the future. Connie & Dick's is celebrating it's 50th anniversary right here in Claremont. For 18 years, my husband has worked very hard to build our business and reputation with expert, honest and reliable automotive service. I hope to continue where my husband left off while adding a woman's touch. Thank You Claremont Chamber of Commerce & Members for all of your support.

As an Ambassador, I have come to appreciate the opportunities provided by the Chamber - for the give and take needed to both survive and thrive in this challenging economic environment.
