The Claremont Chamber of Commerce and local merchants have campaigned to increase awareness of the benefits of shopping locally. The campaign asks the question, " What would happen if we all spent just $50 per month at local merchants?”
The campaign states that:-
- If just half of the employed U.S. population spent $50.00 each month in independently owned businesses
- Collectively, this would have a huge positive impact on our local economy.
- Their purchases would generate more than $42 billion in revenue.

Claremont Chamber Gift Card Program
Throughout the year, many residents and visitors in the city purchase the Claremont Chamber cards, for family and friends. Each card distributed from our office includes a list of merchants participating in this wonderful program, giving each recipient a huge array of choices as to where they can spend their gift.
